General informations

The school proposes and promotes courses of the American Federation SDI / TDI. The courses range from the basic course (open water diver) to the Trimix courses, instructor courses.

The dates and times of the courses are agreed with the students in order to provide maximum availability: the course can also be done individually.

Recreational Courses

Scuba Discovery, Future Buddies, Open Water Scuba Diver Course, Inactive Diver, Advanced Diver Development, Rescue Diver Course, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, CPROX Administrator.

Professional courses

Divemaster, Assistant instructor.

Technical Courses

Nitrox Diver, Intro To Tech, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Advanced Wreck Diver, Trimix Diver.
Every single course includes a final exam, after which the relative Certificate is issued with the level achieved by the student.

Recreational Courses

Scuba Discovery Program:   this program was designed to provide potential students with an introduction to scuba diving, in a controlled environment under the direct supervision of the instructor

Future Buddies Program: this program was designed to give children of eight (8) and nine (9) years an introduction to Scuba diving in a controlled environment and under the direct supervision of an instructor. Prerequisites for access to the course

Open Water Scuba Diver Course: this is the first level of certification for scuba diving, and was designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge and diving techniques to properly conduct an underwater excursion in conditions similar to those in which took place without the supervision of an instructor.

Inactive Diver Program - Refresher Course: the SDI Inactive Diver program is designed to update the knowledge and diving techniques of a long inactive diver. SDI encourages the use of this program by SDI Instructors, SDI Assistant Instructors, SDI Divemasters or by SDI dive centers, when there are doubts about the experience of a diver who wants to dive or participate in a course.

Advanced Diver Development Program: this course was created to provide the diver with an Advanced patent proper. Unlike the Advanced Adventure Diver Specialty course (equivalent to the Advanced patent of other recognized RSTC courses), which provides only an overview of the specialties taught, the SDI Advanced Diver Development Program course requires an Open Water diver to have completed four specialty courses 'and have 25 recorded dives. The Deep specialty must always be included within this course.

Rescue Diver Course: the course was designed to increase knowledge and provide the necessary techniques to provide assistance and first aid in diving accidents.

After the successful completion of this course, the patented is able to provide assistance to a diver in difficulty and can:
A. Register for a SDI Divemaster course.
B. Register for a SDI Master Diver Program

Deep Diver: the purpose of this course is to provide the necessary training to plan and perform dives that go beyond the limits of the Open Water Diver course, specifically between eighteen (18) and maximum depth of forty (40 ) meters.

Wreck Diver: wreck diving is certainly one of the most exciting aspects of underwater sport, if the necessary diving techniques are applied. In this course we will discuss and use the techniques and equipment necessary to carry out safe wreck diving. This course can be taught as: 1) non-penetration (2 dives) or 2)

limited penetration (3 dives). In the case in which the '' limited penetration '' is chosen, this is defined by the fact of remaining in places where the direct light comes from outside.

CPROX Administrator: this course is actually the combination of two programs: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Oxygen Administration. It was designed to teach divers how to safely and correctly perform CPR and O2 administration in emergency situations.

The student at the end of this course will be qualified to:
1. Evaluation of the victim.
2. Perform a CPR on an adult person.
3. Be able to give O2 to a person who is breathing or not breathing.

Professional courses

Divemaster: the SDI Divemaster course is the first level of professional certification. During this course you will be tested and learn how it is to work with divers when they first experience the underwater world and learn how to drive certified divers and show them some of your favorite creatures and dive spots.
Your SDI Instructor will also teach you how to manage divers, work on boats and conduct safe and fun dives.
You can also expect to learn Physics and Physiology and how to be a professional Dimemaster.
Your skills will be qualitatively enhanced by demonstration and your knowledge increased to a professional level.
After completing the Divemaster course, you will be able to progress towards the SDI Assistant Instructor Course where you will learn more about theory lessons and the ability to teach specific SDI specialties.

Assistant Instructor: The SDI Assistant instructor course is designed to gain you practical experience in teaching with an active SDI Instructor or Instructor Trainer. You will help an instructor who teaches an Open Water Scuba Diver, Advanced Diver and Rescue Diver course. Your SDI instructor will also teach you to prepare a lesson plan.

Technical Courses

Nitrox Diver: this is the basic level certification course for recreative divers who wish to use Nitrox (enriched air) as an immersion gas.
The objective of this course is to educate divers to understand the advantages, risks and correct procedures for using Nitrox mixtures from twenty-two (22) to forty (40)% of oxygen.

Intro To Tech: the TDI Intro to Tech course is perfect for divers who have heard of technical diving and want to learn more about this branch of advanced recreational diving. This course accompanies students through special techniques, planning procedures and skills that differentiate technical diving from traditional underwater sport. It will be shown how to improve the methods for planning dives, water skills and how to hydrodynamics the existing equipment configuration, all in an entertaining and not at all intimidating learning environment. The technical specifications that this course will highlight are:

Advanced Buoyancy Control Gas Management
Awareness of the situation
Trim

Choice and Configuration of the Equipment
More!
The TDI Intro to Tech course is a useful stand-alone course for scuba divers who want to become more skilled, more compliant regardless of whether they want to move towards technical diving. The course can

also be used as an introduction to the TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures courses. And finally it is also a good refresh program for certified technical divers who want to refresh their skills or be re-evaluated by a TDI technical instructor.

Advanced Nitrox Diver: this course examines the use of EAN blends from 22 to 100% oxygen as an optimal mixture in dives at a maximum depth of 40 meters.
The objective of this course is to train divers on the benefits, risks and procedures of using EAN mixes from 22 to 100% oxygen for dives without mandatory decompression stops.

The Decompression Techniques Course can be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor. Prerogatives of the patented
After the successful completion of this course, the patented can dive using EAN mixes from 22 to 100% oxygen without the supervision of an instructor under the following conditions:
1. Underwater activities similar to those performed during training.
2. Types of diving similar to those performed in training.
3. Meteorological conditions similar to those found in training

Decompression Procedures: this course trains and gives divers the experience necessary to dive competently and safely in the air up to a maximum depth of fifty-five (55) meters, in dives with mandatory decompression stops, using EAN and / or oxygen mixtures during decompressive phases.

Extended Range: this course trains and gives divers the experience they need to dive competently and safely in the air up to a maximum depth of fifty-five (55) meters, in dives with mandatory decompression stops, using EAN and / or oxygen mixtures during decompressive phases.

Advanced Wreck Diver: this course trains and gives divers the experience they need to perform advanced wreck diving competently and safely. This program includes penetration techniques.
The maximum depth cannot exceed that to which the diver is trained, in any case not exceeding fifty five (55) meters.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the correct techniques, necessary equipment and the dangers of wreck diving.

Trimix Diver: this course trains and gives divers the experience they need to dive competently and safely using base mixtures containing helium and EAN or oxygen during the decompressive phases, at a maximum depth of sixty (60) meters. The objective of this course is to train divers to the correct techniques, necessary equipment and the dangers of diving with oxygen / nitrogen / helium mixtures. The mixtures used must not contain oxygen less than eighteen percent (18%).
